Keyword Research privacy policy

Effective October 3, 2026

This policy covers AuraByte Studios' internal Keyword Research tool. It is separate from the policies for our mobile apps. The API integration is being prepared; the practices below apply when an authorized studio operator connects and uses it.

Data accessed and used

The operator supplies seed keywords, optional website URLs, targeting settings and a Google Ads customer identifier. Through the Google Ads API, the tool requests keyword suggestions, historical search metrics, advertising competition, bid estimates and forecasts. It uses these inputs and results to support keyword selection, advertising planning and research reports.

Google OAuth credentials and tokens authorize requests to the selected account. The Google Ads OAuth permission can permit broader account operations, but the intended tool functions do not request customer lists, individual users' records or advertising campaign performance reports.

Google and analysis providers

Keyword research requests are sent to Google. Google's handling of those requests is described in Google's privacy policy.

When the operator uses Codex for analysis, research prompts and keyword results may be processed by OpenAI. That processing, including provider retention, is governed by the applicable OpenAI privacy policy, service terms and the operator's account data controls. Operators must not include authentication secrets in analysis prompts or reports.

We use Google data for the research functions described here. We do not sell Google account data or share it with advertising brokers. This tool has no public user-account service or studio-hosted research database.

Storage and retention

The local integration uses credentials on the operator's computer. Research results may be saved as local reports, and content used in Codex may also remain in the operator's chat history. Operators are responsible for restricting access to their computer and credential files and for reviewing the storage and data controls of the services they use.

Credentials are needed while the connection is in use. Local reports are retained for ongoing research comparisons and can be deleted by the operator when no longer needed. This tool does not automatically delete local reports or Codex conversations. Provider-side records are subject to the relevant provider's retention rules.

Disconnecting and deleting data

To stop account access, revoke Keyword Research in your Google Account's third-party connections, then stop the local server and remove its saved credentials. Delete saved local reports separately. To remove Codex conversations or manage OpenAI data, use the controls available in the relevant OpenAI account. Revoking Google access does not erase reports already saved or content already sent for analysis.

Who uses the tool

Keyword Research is for authorized studio operators. It is not directed at children and does not offer public registration, payments or user uploads.
